Story and Purpose
We seem to have normalized ‘living exhausted’ - our dietary choices & the way we live do not sum up to it -, and try to avoid open conversations about our needs.
Personally, after a hard post-partum, being told ‘You already take good care of yourself, there is not much else to do, maybe take some vitamins?’ and finding myself trying to decipher impossible labellings, was the trigger to ambition a brand focused on self-care for women.
mira was born to encourage women to make informed decisions and take good care of ourselves. Our first product, mira Essential, is a multivitamin with key nutrients, such as Omega 3 DHA or vitamins D3 and B12. Many of you already feel more energy and get better rest just after a few weeks. I feel this too.
Today I have 3 children, and thanks to good habits, one of them being taking mira Essential, I can better balance family, work.. and me-time. It is not always easy, that is why it is important to find balance, both mental and physical, by also providing the best nutrients we can. Because at the end, if we do not prioritize ourselves, how can we take good care of our kids, or feel our best at work and personally?
mira is Spanish for ‘look’, for us a call-to-action for everything we do. To enable making informed decisions, we dedicate great part of this web to detail each ingredient and material used for our packaging. We follow a minimal approach, not only towards what you put in your body, but also what we get from and leave on the planet.
